A six-roomed flat with three balconies overlooking the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero Gardens

On the fifth and top floor of a superb, dressed stone Haussmannian building with a live-in Caretaker. The double entrance doors opens into a gallery that leads to a triple, corner reception room. The three large rooms, that is a lounge, a dining room and a library, each have their own fireplace and open on to small balconies that face the impressive mass of the Eiffel Tower. There are some wonderful views of the Champs-de-Mars and the Trocadero Gardens.

Location

This flat looks down on the Trocadero Gardens, created in front of the Eiffel Tower for the 1937 Universal Exhibition between the semi-circular wings of the Chaillot Palace. Dotted with monumental sculptures, their famous terraced waterfall is dominated by a large ornamental pool featuring the 56 water jets that delight photographers the world over, especially when visitors come to cool off in the summer.

Our Opinion

It would be difficult to find a more striking panorama than that provided through these tall Haussmannian windows, especially as it is the world’s most famous monument (with the Statue of Liberty and the Pyramids) that overshadows this flat which can but be considered outstanding. This luminous and elegant property convincingly explains the meaning of “chic”.
